Updated October 29, 2026 at 1:02 p.m. IST: The Israeli Central Elections Committee’s provisional count has reached about 90.4%. The current projection gives Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc 53 seats, Gadi Eisenkot’s opposition bloc 48 and the Arab parties a combined 19.
A governing majority requires 61 seats in the 120-member Knesset. Neither main bloc has an outright majority. Double-envelope ballots—including votes from soldiers, diplomats and people voting away from their registered polling stations—are still being counted.
Results remain provisional
The final seat allocation can still change. The Central Elections Committee says the official final results will be published by November 4 and may change until then.
