Railways opens applications for 1,688 NTPC undergraduate posts; deadline November 13
CEN 07/2026 applications opened on October 15 for 1,688 non-technical Indian Railways vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply until 11:59 PM on November 13.

India | October 15, 2026. The Railway Recruitment Boards have opened online applications for 1,688 Non-Technical Popular Categories (Undergraduate) vacancies under Centralised Employment Notice CEN 07/2026.
Applications opened on October 15. Eligible candidates may apply until 11:59 p.m. on November 13, 2026. The fee-payment deadline is November 15, and the application-correction window runs from November 16 to 25.
- Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: 700
- Accounts Clerk Cum Typist: 200
- Junior Clerk Cum Typist: 600
- Trains Clerk: 188
Under the conditions in the official notice, applicants must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. The general age range is 18–30 years as of January 1, 2027, with prescribed relaxations. Selection includes two computer-based tests, a typing test where applicable, document verification and a medical examination.
The Nilgiris District Administration’s October 13 release publicised the wider recruitment of 5,755 graduate and undergraduate vacancies. The application phase that opened today covers the 1,688 undergraduate vacancies.
